Seed-money application
X-HiDE is inviting researchers and PhD students to apply for “seed-money” for start-up translational projects on key inflammatory mechanisms of clinical significance. The grant aims to identify pilot studies with the potential to develop into full-scale projects associated to the X-HiDE profile, and to identify novel approaches of studying pathophysiological mechanisms related to inflammatory processes with focus on improvement of diagnostics and treatment.
Grants will be funded with up to approximately 100 000 SEK to be used in 2024. The grants will not be affected by over-head costs. The grant is intended to cover running expenses related to experiments, analyses and attainment of specialized novel competence or methodology. Funds may be used for expenses related to salaries for technician performing the analyses, but are not intended to support salaries for involved researchers e.g. the PI.
Who can apply?
Researchers (PhD/MD) and PhD students with the ambition of exploring molecular pathways or analyzing mechanisms involved in inflammatory processes in clinically derived material are eligible to apply.
