We are running a research project to understand how to increase people’s ability to deal with the threat posed by cybercrime.

Why is your participation important?

Cybercrime is on the rise, and online threats do not only target organizations, they also affect ordinary people in everyday life. A text message, an email, or even a phone call may appear harmless, but in reality, it could be an attempt to trick you into revealing personal information or losing money.

In this research study we are investigating how to increase people’s cyber security awareness and make them better prepared to face these types of threats. More specifically, we want to understand how the recommendations or tips that different organizations (for example banks) provide to warn people about online threats can be improved and tailored to the specific needs of different groups in society. By participating in this study, you can help us gain a deeper understanding of people’s concerns about online threats and how these concerns can be effectively addressed.

For that we want to do interviews that will be done online and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. There will be a compensation with a gift card worth 250 SEK (https://www.getgifted.com/kammarkollegiet).

Who can participate?

  • You are 18 years or older
