About this project
The eye gaze technology project has two parts. The multicenter intervention study aims to examine the effect of eye gaze technology on participation in activities, communication, and independence of children and youths with severe physical impairments and without speech. In the intervention study children who are provided with an eye gaze technology at communication centers in Sweden, in a center i USA as well as a center in Dubai are followed with repeated measurements for six months.
The national survey aims to evaluate access, use and usability of eye gaze technology for people with disabilities. Any differences between adults and children in usability of eye gaze technology in everyday life from a user perspective are also studied.
