Statistics, Econometrics, Second Cycle, 7.5 Credits

This course covers basic methods in multiple linear regression analysis and some of the alternative models that can be used when the linear model is inadequate. It provides the theoretical basis for a complete understanding of econometric methods along with their practical implementation using statistical software. Course-specific machine learning methods will be included. Some advanced methods related to non-linear regression models will be discussed as well. The material will help the students find appropriate statistical methods and apply them correctly to real data.
