Research seminars

The aim of the research seminars is to promote doctoral education, research and collegial exchange. The seminars consist primarily of presentation and discussion of manuscripts and the so-called “mid-way“ and “kappa“ seminars. The seminars can also be used for discussions on a research project, such as applications for research funding and presentations at scientific conferences.

The seminars are open to all interested parties to participate. Pre-registration is required no later than 8 days prior to the seminar. Manuscript is distributed before the seminar. Information about the seminars and registration for each occasion is on the calendar for the School of Health Sciences below.

For those who wish to hold a seminar

You who wish to hold a seminar will propose the date and time that suits you and the reviewers - keep in mind that you need to have suggestions on who will be the seminar leader and reviewers, and to inform fouadm.HV@oru.se if you wish to book a room for the seminar.

Send your proposal to fouadm.HV@oru.se. State your preferred date and time, type of seminar, script title and names of the reviewer and seminar leader. Then send the current script to fouadm.HV@oru.se no later than 8 days before the seminar. The research administrator then sends the script to the registered participants 7 days before the seminar.

The person in charge of the seminar is responsible for advertising for his seminar and for sending the material to selected reviewers in accordance with agreement (with the exception of the mid-way review, where the research administrator sends the script to the reviewers in accordance with the "Proposal for and decision on the mid-way review").
