AASS Seminar - The CARESSES EU H2020 Project

The research centre AASS arranges a seminar with Alessandro Saffiotti AASS, Örebro University.
Abstract
The CARESSES EU-JP H2020 project (Culture-Aware Robots and Environmental Sensor Systems for Elderly Support, www.caressesrobot.org) aims to make assistive robots that are culturally aware. These robots will be able to adapt how they behave and speak to the culture, customs and manners of the person they assist. CARESSES started on January 1, 2017. In this short seminar (18' plus questions) I will present the concept, the goals and the methods of CARESSES, and discuss the role of AASS in this project.
