Degree certificate and conferment ceremony
When all course requirements are met and the public defence or licentiate seminar has been successfully completed, the doctoral student must request a degree certificate.

Before the degree certificate can be awarded, it must be checked that all course requirements are met. The doctoral student fills out the form below and sends it to the doctoral education administration at the department in question:

Conferment ceremony
The doctoral conferment ceremony is the solemn act in which doctoral students who have completed a doctoral degree are conferred as doctors. This takes place at Örebro University's Academic Celebration, which is held each year in February. Read more about the Academic Celebration on the following link:
