For the principal supervisor
As the main supervisor, you must submit documentation for the head of department's proposal for a public defence.
The regulations for public defences are collected in the document Information on proposals and decisions on the public defense of a doctoral thesis (pdf)
You do this by downloading the Word document below (“Supporting document for the proposal for the public defence of a doctoral thesis”).
Please note that you need to open the document and save a copy locally on your computer before filling it in. Click “Download file” at the top of your browser. Once saved, complete the form and save it again.
If you are using a Mac, open the file in Word (the desktop app), not in your web browser (Word Online). Otherwise, some form fields may not be editable.
The completed document should then be sent by email to the doctoral education administration (email addresses are provided on the last page of the document).
