International Logistics will begin by giving the student a basic overview of transportation and logistics, as well as logistic principles. It will then move on and study logistics activities in international business with special emphasis on transportation, global sourcing, customs issues, governmental influence, facility location in global environment, and import-export opportunities/restriction. Special emphasis is placed on current events and their effect on the marketing and logistics activities of multinational corporations.
