Mobile Platforms, 7.5 Credits

Mobile applications are a major component of modern societies: they provide variety of online services, fluidify social interactions, healthcare, and they are the cornerstone of the blooming economy 2.0. Unlike traditional websites, mobile applications emphasize ergonomy and user experience, which involves specific design patterns and software architecture. This course focuses on the development of mobile applications for Android platforms. The main part of the course is devoted to the realization of a mini-project based on the student's own proposal.

When is the course offered?

Prerequisites: Web-Systems for MSc in Engineering, 7.5 Credits and Human-Computer Interaction for MSc in Engineering, 4.5 Credits. The applicant must also have qualifications corresponding to the course "English 6" or "English B" from the Swedish Upper Secondary School.
