Perspectives on Security, the State and Global Politics, 7.5 Credits

The course focuses on contemporary issues related to global politics and security, exploring questions concerning inter- and intrastate conflict, the state, dilemmas of international response and management, and global governance and international institutions. Against the backdrop of heightened geopolitical tensions and emerging security challenges in Europe and beyond, the course tries to shed light on how these and other global and regional developments are reshaping conceptions of security, sovereignty and international cooperation.
