Sport Science, The Future of Sport Management, 7.5 Credits
The course aims to give you knowledge about development processes and innovations that will likely affect sport in the future. During the course, you will identify emerging and possible future innovations in technology but also in other areas. As part of identifying the innovations, you will consult stakeholders in sports, both Swedish and foreign. Next, you will reason about what global and local effects the innovations can have on sports in general and sports management in particular. As part of the reasoning, you will reflect on how sports organizations' mission, vision, and policy documents need to change in order for the innovations to have positive effects for the sports organizations.
