Write, read and respond to discussion posts
Write a discussion post
- Open the discussion
- Enter your post in the Responses box
- Click the Respond button
Read and respond to posts
- If there are new posts in the discussion forum this is indicated by a purple speech bubble on where the discussion is published.
- Open the discussion

Select group discussion by selecting from the list (this option is only available to teachers)
- Read the post and reply by clicking the Reply link
View an individual user's post and response
You can choose the display of an individual user's posts and replies.
- Find the user by entering a name in the Find Participants box. You can also click on the user's name in the list of the five most active members in the discussion.
