As part of your onboarding, we’d like to introduce you to the Örebro Service Office – a unique collaboration between several Swedish government agencies, designed to make it easier for individuals and businesses to access public services. 

What is the Service Office? 

The Örebro Service Office is a joint entry point for five key authorities, offering both digital and in-person support. You can receive help with forms, applications, and guidance in multiple languages. 

Services Available Include: 

  • Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket): 
    Population registration, ID cards, tax returns, and digital services. 
  • Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan): 
    Parental benefits, sick pay, housing allowance, and help with applications. 
  • Swedish Pensions Agency (Pensionsmyndigheten): 
    Pension forecasts, housing supplements, and retirement applications. 
  • Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen): 
    Job seeker registration, support programs, and e-service guidance. 
  • Swedish Migration Agency (Migrationsverket): 
    Help with residence permits and citizenship applications.

Answers to questions about preschool/school placements and more.

You can book an individual appointment at the Service Center and we encourage you to do so, as soon as possible.

If you are unable to visit the Service Center during these hours, it is also possible to use the drop-in service, open weekdays between 10-16.
