About Anna Rotander

Anna Rotander is assistant professor in biology conducting research in the Environment and Health group at the MTM Research Centre. Anna is the lab director of the microplastic laboratory at MTM.

Research

Anna Rotander’s main research is centered around microplastic, and the focus is on its occurrence, sources and environmental distribution. Most of her research work is conducted in the Environmental Forensic laboratory (EnForce), within which she is head of the Plastic-RISK project.
