About Elin Ekholm
Elin Ekholm is a licensed psychologist and a doctoral student belonging to the research environment Center for Medical and Health Psychology (CHAMP) at Örebro University. She got her masters degree in psychology from Umeå University in 2011 and has worked as a clinical psychologist in psychiatric care and in pain rehabilitation.
Elins research is in the domain of psychology, pain and sexual health. Her main research interest is in psychological mechanisms affecting health, sexual function and sexual relationships of women suffering from superficial vulvovaginal pain and dyspareunia. She also teaches at the Psychology program.
