The aim of this project is to identify the effect of Supported Employment (compared to usual service) on societal costs, self-efficacy, gaining employment, and quality of life for unemployed individuals with a psychiatric disability. The aim also includes evaluating the cost-effectiveness of Supported Employment.

In order to address our research questions we will set up an experimental study in collaboration with the foundation Activa. A pool of unemployed individuals with psychiatric disability in the region of Örebro will be selected into either a treatment group (Supported Employment) or a control group (service as usual provided by the social psychiatry and labor market unit by).
