Health care resources are limited and therefore it is an inevitable need for prioritizations. This has become even more evident as a consequence of the Covid 19-pandemic, when scheduled interventions have been postponed in order to allocate resources to acute treatment of Covid patients.

To maximize the welfare in society, the prioritizations in health care should reflect the population’s preferences. If this is not the case, the total welfare can be increased by re-allocating resources from one treatment to another.

The aim of this project is to study the populations preferences for interventions with different types of characteristics within the health care sector with a specific focus on interventions connected to mental health.
