New book chapter on environmental and sustainability education and global citizenship education
LEARING FOR A JUST, PEACEFUL AND SUSTAINABLE WORLD
New book chapter on environmental and sustainability education and global citizenship education.
In the chapter, Karen Pashby, Marta da Costa and Louise Sund develop a conceptual framework for empirical research with teachers who want to explore decolonial approaches to teaching global justice issues. In this way, the chapter bridges the two research fields of Environmental and Sustainability Education (ESE) and Global Citizenship Education (GCE). The chapter is included in the anthology Learning for a Just, Peaceful and Sustainable World (Douglas Bourn and Alexis Stones, eds.) and is available for free download here.
