Research subject

The RESA Project (Rehabilitation, Occupation and Jobs for People with Psychiatric Disabilities) is part of the government's psychiatric care initiative (government bill 2008/09:1), which is based on the National Psychiatric Care Coordinator's final report, Ambition and Responsibility (Swedish Government Report 2006:100). The Public Employment Service has been mandated to cooperate with the Social Insurance Agency to procure rehabilitation and other types of supportive initiatives for people with psychiatric disabilities. The procurement must be implemented so that social businesses can compete and thus contribute to the development of more social businesses.
