Research subject

The life style of both female and male employees in the restaurant business, a service trade through-and-through, is about living the pace and being expected to cope with it. How do women and men position themselves and co-operate on the restaurant floor today, of what significance is gender in the restaurant? Through interviews and observations at a prestigious a
la carte restaurant, we found the keys to understanding positioning and co-operation: mentorship, professional titles, working clothes, knowledge of food and wine.
