Silicone sock as treatment of heel fissures among people with diabetes - a randomized controlled trial

The overall study aim is to investigate if a silicone sock combined with lubricating the skin is more effective than lubricating the skin only, to treat deep heel fissures and prevent heel ulcers among people with diabetes. This will be investigated by randomizing people with diabetes and deep heel fissures to the two different interventions and systematically follow up the outcomes.
