Research subject

Over the past two decades, Violence, Gender Discrimination and Abuse issues have become increasingly visible and vocal. This research project will explore how law, visual arts and language think about violence, gender discrimination and abuse with two research axes, namely the family law axis and the public law axis. The family law axis will focus on domestic violence and juvenile justice whereas the public law axis will focus on the immigration, human and fundamental rights and activism as well as free speech/hatred speech. We will finally compare the results in the U.S.A with the European situation.
