Research subject

The project aim to study endovascular methods for resuscitation and management of major internal bleeding in threatening cardiac arrest. Animal and clinical studies investigate the hemodynamic effect of resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta (REBOA) and its effect on the metabolism of the abdominal organs and the blood coagulation. New clinical guidelines will be produced.
