Agent-based Route- and Mode Choice Simulation
About this project
The project is based on three steps:
1. Agent-based simulation of pedestrian movement. Stepwise generalization of a larger pedestrian simulation project of testing train schedules and layout of railway stations. Simulation of the SBB Railway Stations in Luzern (8-12/2008) and Gümligen (2-4/2009).
2. The LTF-evacuation project. Integration of complex environmental models into a pedestrian simulation of evacuation from TGV trains in a tunnel. Analysis of evacuation processes in a train tunnel environment.
3. Development and test of a combined travel mode and route choice mode.
