Using technology to track and analyze athletes' performance has become increasingly common, including in Swedish elite football. However, there is a risk that the data from such technologies may become overly dominant, leading to the neglect of other types of knowledge and perspectives. There is, however, only limited knowledge about this issue. Therefore, the purpose of the present project is to map out which technologies are used in Swedish elite football and examine how they affect power relations between managers, coaches, analysts, and players. Based on the results, recommendations will be provided on how these technologies should be implemented to support athletes' performance and well-being from a more long-term perspective. In this way, the project can contribute to the competitiveness of Swedish sports.
