Identification of subgroups within a national population of children who developed clinical type 1 diabetes before seven years of age

The study is a collaboration with Better Diabetes Diagnosis (BDD) and the National Diabetes Register (NDR). The project compares disease markers and other descriptive data at diagnosis with outcomes up to 12 years after diagnosis. Data are available for all children under 7 years old who were included in the BDD study between 2005 and 2022, as well as data from the NDR on prospective follow-up from the time of diagnosis up to 2022.
