The Research advisory board at the School of Medical Sciences
The Research advisory board at the School of Medical Sciences (MV) is responsible for promoting that high-quality research is conducted at the School and assisting MV in the follow-up work of this.
The Deputy Head of School is the chairman and reports to the Head of School through the Institutional Management Council (ILR). The Research advisory board also has a responsibility to communicate current research issues to the organization.
Members of the Research advisory board are appointed for a two-year term. Employees can nominate meritorious employees (including themselves) to be part of the advisory board. The Head of School makes decisions about which members will be part of the Research Advisory board.

Examples: investigators with responsibility for research issues and education at postgraduate level at the Faculty Office, Direction managers for research subjects (medicine, biomedicine, and surgery), Grants Office, the School’s representatives in the Vice-Chancellor’s Research advisory board.
