About the speaker
Mr. Pan is a PhD student of Prof. DAI Jiayin at the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. Since the phase-out of PFOS and PFOA in both industrial and commercial applications, a number of PFOS/PFOA alternatives have been introduced to the global market. Until recently, some of these alternatives have been identified. Parts of the research interests of Yitao’s include developing analytical method to measure PFAS alternatives and investigating the distribution of PFAS alternatives in the environment. In his talk, he will give us an update on these alternatives in different water systems including in Örebro and Stockholm.
