Abstract
VisualLIFT is an initiative funded by TVV (Tillväxtverket),
whose goal is to allow technology transfer in the area of advanced
visualization from academia to local SMEs. As one of the regional nodes,
OrU has a possibility to provide easy access to visualization technology
to local companies and thus develop new collaborations and support
existing one. This short presentation outlines organizational and
technical details of this initiative, provides pre-defined themes for
possible collaborations, and discusses the use of this initiative as a
tool to support our local SMEs and engage them more with our existing
research.
