Social Science Perspectives on the Welfare State: Thematic Studies, 7.5 Credits

The course gives the student the opportunity to develop a deeper knowledge of and reflect on the growth, development and challenges of the modern welfare state from the perspectives of Political Science, Gender studies or Human Geography. The student chooses, in consultation with a supervisor, a specific theme and will during the course work on an individual written assignment related to that theme. The course is given as distance education with digital events and seminars and will thus provide flexibility in teaching forms.
