Current exchange student

We hope that you are having a great exchange semester during here at Örebro University! On this page, you will find relevant information for current exchange students.

Remember, if you have any questions you are always welcome to the Info Centre in the middle of Långhuset ('the long house') on campus. Our colleagues will happily assist you and point you in the right direction.

If you want to make changes regarding your courses during your exchange semester you need to contact the study advisors at the school responsible for the course. Please include the following information in your email:

  • your full name
  • your Swedish personal identity number
  • which course (course name and course code) you wish to cancel
  • which course (course name and course code) you would like to attend instead

Only when your course change has been confirmed, you can update your learning agreement. Please send this to the study advisor at the school responsible for the course.

Remember to inform your home university about the course change and make sure that it is accepted. You will be able to see the course changes in the student portal Ladok Student a few days after the change has been made.

If your home university requires Örebro University to sign any kind of documents before you depart regarding your attendance at Örebro University, you can visit the Info Centre in Långhuset during their opening hours. You can also email the document to the International Office at
