How do I start my own meetings in Zoom?
Log in at oru-se.zoom.us and activate your account.

How do I activate my Zoom account?
Log in at oru-se.zoom.us and activate your account. You will receive an activation email from Zoom, which will be sent to your private email address. We’ve noticed that there can be issues with certain addresses like hotmail.com, live.com, and outlook.com.

The only workaround is to:

Temporarily change your student email to e.g. a Gmail address via Student Services and in Ladok under My Information and My Contact Information
Contact itsupport@oru.se to receive a new confirmation email
Then change back to your original email address

How do I join a Zoom meeting?
You can join meetings without having activated your account; it’s fine to join as a guest.

How do I change the language in Zoom?
You need to download the Zoom application. Once you’ve started the program, you can click the Zoom icon near the clock on your PC and change the language.

I’m having problems with sound/video in Zoom.
It’s recommended to use a USB headset. Webcams generally work well.
