Eduroam for Linux Here’s how to connect your PC to the wireless network (Wi-Fi). Step 1 – Create a temporary wireless connection Connect to the Wi-Fi network ORU-Public. On the webpage that opens, select To eduroam. If the page doesn’t load, open a browser, and go to wifi.oru.se. Select Join eduroam. Step 2 – Run the script Open a terminal window. Run the script: sh SecureW2_JoinNow.run Hit Enter to select Next. A new browser window will open. Use your ORU account to sign in: - employee: firstname.lastname@oru.se - student: username@edunet.oru.se Enter your ORU account password. In the terminal Joined confirms the connection. You’re now connected to eduroam.
