Re-registration

At Örebro University, the principal rule is that examinations take place in accordance with the current version of the course syllabus, regardless of when the student was registered on the course, which is a new regulation that came into force in connection with the start of the semester 2024.

If you have been registered on a course, it is up to you, as the student, to carry out the examinations that you have not previously completed. In some cases, this may mean that you need to re-register for elements that require registration, such as written examinations.

A re-registration to a course must always equate to the scope of the course that corresponds to a student's actual commitment to the course, usually this is the the examination to be carried out.

Through re-registration, you as a student are given the right to participate in teaching and, if there are special circumstances, it may also include the right to new supervision.

If you have any questions, please contact the study counsellor at the department where you are studying.
