Send group messages

Only teachers can start communication via group messages. To enable the participants to communicate with the entire group via the message tool, as a teacher, you can send a group message with the setting "Allow reply for this message" marked.

  • In the Details & Actions menu, click on the link under the heading Course groups.
  • Click on the three points to the right of the desired set, and then select Edit
  • Click on the three points to the right of the desired group and then select Group Message
  • Fill in the message field
  • If you would like to allow members to reply to the message, select "Allow reply to this message".
  • Click Submit

Your post will now appear in Messages and the group members may continue to communicate via this.
