Electronic resources

Märtas main focus is on electronic resources, ie databases, e-books and e-journals. Märta works with everything from purchasing and making available, to error handling and evaluation of these resources. This is done both with the university resources as well as for Region Örebro Län via Medicinska e-biblioteket.

Printed resources

Märta also is responsible for work with the printed journals available to read at the Main Library, which include purchase, readying and evaluating said journals. Furthermore, Märta works with handling the printed books for the Medical Library to make them hastily available for the library's visitors. 

User centered approach 

Märta is part of the university library's UX group (user experience), which is method support for the entire university library so that the development of services, functions, information and physical areas is done based on our users' needs. Examples of actions where the group has been involved are the renovation of the Main Library (2018) and in Lyktan's upper floor (2020), as well as the university library's new chat (2020-2025).

During 2021-22, Märta was part of the administrative joint group for service design.

During 2024-2026 Märta was away on educational leave, and now holds a Bachelor of Science in statistics from Örebro University, in addition to their Bachelor of Arts in library and information science from University of Borås.
