About us in Crises and Transformation
The strategic initiative “Crisis and Transformation” is a university-wide platform. Its aim is to create synergies by bringing together strong research groups, individual researchers, and research environments.
Within “Crisis and Transformation”, researchers from business administration, gender studies, the humanities, sport sciences, informatics, cultural geography, media and communication studies, musicology, economics, education, psychology, law, social work, sociology, and political science are brought together to address and study the phenomena of crisis and transformation, in collaboration with societal actors and in partnership with Campus Totalförsvar.
A defining characteristic of the initiative is its holistic perspective on crises and transformation, in which an analysis of the underlying causes of crises is regarded as being just as important as the crisis and the transformation themselves.
