Clinical learning in the OR: from a student nurse anesthetists' and supervisors' perspective

The nurse anesthesia program contains both theory and workplace-based training. The OR environment is complex environments. Learning processes based on nurse anesthesia students and supervisors in an operating room environment is today an unexplored area in Sweden. Today, supervision for students is included in the daily activities, i.e. in clinical routine. More knowledge is needed to understand the learning environment's resources and obstacles from a student and supervisor perspective in the work towards sustainable development and high-quality education.

The overall aim is to investigate and describe the learning situation in an operating theatre, based on the perspective of nurse anesthesia students and supervisors.
