About this project
The research project focuses on intercultural encounters between pupils with different cultural identities (regarding gender, ethnicity, religion and socio-economic status) in school PE. Why are intercultural encounters worthwile, according to current education policy? How do teachers promote intercultural encounters in PE practice? What do the encounters provide for pupils, in terms of learning and intercultural competence? What consequences are expected to follow at the social level, regarding integration and social justice?
