Transformative change through corporate sustainability work

The European Strategy for Sustainable Finance entails systematic attempts to influence financial flows, and thereby indirectly affect market norms and business practices. If it meets its promises, the business sector will have a pivotal role in enabling the green transition. This project targets the implementation of the action plan on sustainable finance by unpacking how the notion of sustainability is formed in and by the sustainability work and reporting process of corporations according to the Corporate Sustainable Reporting Directive. The project builds on case studies and close collaborations with companies in their practical work.

 

The project is funded by the Knowledge foundations Jubilee initiative and has employed a PhD student, Ulrika Winter, from 1 Octber 2025.
