Empowering Occupational Therapist in Elderly Nutrition Care

Older adults in municipal care are at increased risk of malnutrition, which affects their health, quality of life, and independence. Occupational therapists play a central role in assessing and supporting mealtime situations, but there is often a lack of clear working methods and knowledge support. The project investigates how occupational therapists’ competence in nutrition can be strengthened and how new working methods can help prevent malnutrition in everyday life.
