Parents Together is a universal parental support program which includes three parent meetings during three years of secondary school with start in school year 7 and finish in year 9. The non-governmental organization IOGT-NTO is responsible for this program and the implementation in schools.
The aim of the method is to reduce alcohol consumption among senior-level pupils by means of parents together enforcing age restrictions for alcohol, and taking an explicit shared stand against youth drinking.
The intention is to motivate the parents to make an agreement. This agreement is used for strengthening the cooperation among parents to reduce the alcohol consumption among pupils by maintain the 18 year limit for alcohol.

The objectives of the evaluation are to analyze the effects to the intervention program starting in school year 7 school year 9 and to study the intervention mechanisms with a process evaluation. Both parents and children have answered questionnaires from 2008 to 2010.
