Visa Information

The conference organizer will provide an invitation letter after the registration to the conference is finalized and paid. The invitation letter will be in English and may be a valid document for University, Hospital, Industry, and any other professional requirement as proof of registration. The invitation letter is NOT valid as a visa support letter.

Depending on your citizenship, you may need to obtain a visa to enter Sweden. For detailed information, visit the website of the Swedish Migration Agency It is solely the delegate’s responsibility to investigate the visa requirements for Sweden and apply for a visa, if necessary. Neither the conference organizers nor ISPCAN will contact embassies or consulates directly on behalf of visa applicants despite embassies do request it.

To assure a smooth process any visa should be requested at least 2 months prior to departure. Later applications might be possible, however, as the application process can take several weeks, it might be possible that the visa will be released on time.
The invitation letter and any necessary information needed to apply for a visa may be requested from the conference organizers’ e-mail address: This is an email address

Please ensure that copies of passport, hotel & registration confirmation are enclosed to any request for visa support. Furthermore, we kindly ask you to specify which embassy is meant to receive your application (Swedish Embassy of which city/country).

Please do not hesitate to contact us in case of any questions regarding this process.
