About this project
Securing commercial potential in innovation is core, yet inherently difficult. The complexity that characterizes the process where aspects of research, development, production and market are intertwined creates layered dynamic effects that impact on the success rate of the innovation project. Due to this complexity, the final destination of innovation projects is not always – indeed rarely – what was initially intended. If the interactive character of business modelling of research ideas is accounted for, a need for new tools arise; tools not assuming a linear process, but rather acknowledges the interactive non-linear dynamic that characterize innovation. This project aims at developing such models.
