The project has published a number of studies in collaboration with Prof. Rune Ottosen, Oslo, and other colleagues about the professional challenges and problems for journalists reporting from the new, asymmetric wars after 1989. The latest publication is Nohrstedt & Ottosen New Wars, New Media and New War Journalism (Nordicom 2014), which sums up the earlier studies and present lessons from this unique historical analysis from the Gulf War 1990 until the Libyan War 2011.
