The project (FUture Safe electronic identification) is a collaboration between researchers from Information Systems and Political Science at the Department of Management and Engineering. The project runs from 2011 until 2014 and is funded by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency. The project aims to study and critically analyze the development, implementation and use of a new e-legitimation in Sweden. The project combines a social, an organizational and a technical perspective to examine what aspects that make a future e-legitimation perceived as safe by different actors. The project focuses on the following issues: emergence and interaction between process and artefact, design and risks, interpretation of practices, and accountability in e-identification.
