About this project
The PhD project aims to explore and discuss how the notion of hospitality (the Swedish word “värdskap”) and Sensory Science can be used as valuable perspectives to understand older patients’ meal experiences. Within the project sensory communication, hospitality and different professional roles will be studied. In addition, the PhD project will study if and how the meal experience can enhance the sense of well-being for the elderly in hospitals.
The PhD project is within the Örebro university research school Successful Ageing.
