From cognitive scientific research, we see how students differ in their reading comprehension ability and what factors affect that ability. The digital reading companion (DRC) is the thought of a teaching tool that will be developed to be interactive and individually adapted to promote students' reading comprehension ability. In the realization of DLK, knowledge from pedagogical research and practice is linked to the theories of special education and applying AI. The project will generate research and development material in the form of data, as well as interdisciplinary collaboration and insights.
