The overall purpose of the research project is to develop a geriatric assessment strategy for elderly cancer patients that can predict the effectiveness of radiation therapy, radiation-related side effects and the patient's quality of life. The clinical significance is that the treating physician should be able to more easily know which fragile elderly benefit from radiation therapy
